TopUp Robertson was established in October 2011. At that stage, the TopUp brand was still very young but in the words of the owner, “we could see the potential to grow for us and for them, thus they came onboard and the partnership has been good…”
TopUp prides itself in being a young brand offering a new generation of smart fuel retailing for investors-turned-dealers looking to capitalize on a young, energetic brand focused on efficient fuel supplies and fast delivery lead times.
Supply issues often hamper many smaller service stations, like TopUp Robertson, and TopUp head office saw the need for innovation in the South African fuel retailing space; it has become essential to create value and efficiency for customers. The spirit of the TopUp brand calls for customer-directed retailing which is personal, rather than corporate, and unique, rather than generic. Sean Ekström (TopUp executive director) is very hands-on and visits all the franchisees on a regular basis.
The TopUp Robertson service station currently has 3 employees with the longest in service, Selvin Triem, who has been working here since November 2005.
Like all other TopUp service stations, the Robertson branch believes in great service delivery. This means friendly staff, a clean and well looked after driveway, clean restrooms and always having working pumps that never run out of product.
